Economy
Money and Finances
Where your money comes from, where it goes and how the finance window helps you stay out of the red.

Money is your bottleneck at the start. You begin with 150,000 $, and every road, every district and every building costs. Prices always apply in full, there are no discounts.
Income
- Taxes from residential areas, trade and industry, every game hour (Taxes)
- Rent from above from the skyscrapers on the plateau
- Casino and Space Burger, when they turn a profit
- Sales of resources and metals from the warehouse (Warehouse)
Expenses
- Wages of the mines and blast furnaces, the higher the load, the more
- Police, fire department, hospital, every hour in advance (Running the Services)
- Cinema, park gardener, Space Burger, per shift in advance
- Buses, schools, clubs, skyscrapers, continuously
- Loans: repayment of the development loan and daily installments of the District Bank
Taxes never go negative. You only end up in the red when expenses are larger.
The finance window
A click on your balance opens the finances with four tabs:
| Tab | Shows |
|---|---|
| Statement | every shift with income, expenses and problems (Statement and Shifts) |
| Overview | balance, taxes, costs and net result per hour, plus charts over 48 hours, 7 days or 30 days |
| Taxes | the tax rates per district type with a preview |
| Loan | Development Loan and District Bank of SpaceInvasion |
Hover over the balance to see taxes, expenses and profit per hour and when the next advance payment is due.
Debt
If your balance is negative, the tile pulses red. The game goes on anyway: debt only blocks new loans. However, mines and blast furnaces stop when the till is empty, and services close for any hour they cannot pay.
