Upgrade the pig iron mine to level 2 and it opens a second production line: chrome ore. The veins in the mountain, the ore piles and the glow of the rails turn copper green.

What you need it for
Chrome ore has a single job: together with pig iron it becomes chrome steel, and you need chrome steel all the time. Thanks to the colonial license the upgrade to level 2 needs no research (Upgrades and Levels).
