School
Good schools make residential districts more popular and raise the rent. With a college branch, the university becomes possible.
Teacher
Families move where their children learn well. A school makes the residential districts within its range more popular and raises the rent there by up to 15%. About 12% of your residents go to school.

The grade matters
Every school has a grade. A new school starts at 3.6 and gets better or worse over time, depending on how you equip it:
- Teachers: few, balanced or many (30, 50 or 75). More teachers improve the grade.
- Salary: from 150 $ to 600 $ per day for each teacher. Good pay raises the grade.
- Seats: 600, 1,000 or 1,500 pupils. Fewer pupils per school improve the grade. If the school is overcrowded, it drops.
College and university
Once a school reaches a grade of 2.6 or better, you can open a college branch. It raises the rent by another 5% and is required for the University.
