University

The university is the major project for an educated city. It stands on 16 × 16 tiles and takes 4 days to build. You need a School with a college branch.

More taxes

Already at level 1, taxes from commerce and industry rise by 3%. At level 2 it is 5%, at level 3 8%. With every level the university's ring grows by more floors.

Student projects

Your students work on projects. Each costs money and sometimes materials, takes a few days and then lasts 7 days. A few examples:

• Energy efficiency: +3% output of all fusion power plants
• Better blast furnaces: +5% throughput, and blast furnaces can run above full load
• Traffic study: 10% less traffic on all roads
• Criminology: 10% less crime

For level 2 your students need 10 completed projects, for level 3 25. You can build up to 3 universities.
