Entertainment
Cinema
The cinema shows films in up to three shifts a day. The longer it is open, the stronger its effect.
Cinema director
The cinema is the first large entertainment building you can afford. It makes the residential districts within its range more popular. How much depends on how long it is open.

Opening hours
A day has three shifts of eight hours. You choose whether the cinema is closed, plays only in the evening, half the day or all day. Each shift has 320 seats and costs 2,240 $, which you pay in advance. Income comes from tickets, the default is 14 $ per ticket.
- During a show the cinema needs 4 MW. Without power the show is cancelled and the screens flicker.
- For one evening you can schedule a special screening. It attracts a bigger audience but costs extra.
- The statistics show how full the halls were. A shift only pays for itself from about half the seats.
Bus stops nearby extend the catchment area. There is one cinema per city.
