The finest metal: krypto steel, cobalt ore and spice, blast furnace level 4.
Plasma steel is the end goal of every metal chain. Per ton the furnace fuses 1 t of krypto steel, 1 t of cobalt ore and 2 t of spice. Level 4 of the furnace is only unlocked by the research Plasma Steel.

A blast furnace only ever smelts one recipe at a time. You choose the recipe in the furnace window. It draws its ingredients from the mines first, then from the warehouses. If an ingredient is missing, it runs empty.
