Storage
Flow of Goods
How resources flow from the mines through the blast furnaces into the warehouses and how the glowing arrows show it to you.
Crane operator
Resources move by themselves. Conveyor belts and drones carry the goods along, without range limits and without cost. All you have to do is make sure a suitable slot is free somewhere.
The path of goods
- The mine produces into its own storage.
- Transport pushes the goods to the nearest warehouse with a suitable slot and free capacity.
- The blast furnace takes its ingredients straight from the mines' own storage first, nearest first, then from the warehouses.
- Finished metal goes to the nearest warehouse with a metal slot, otherwise into the furnace's output storage.
- Construction sites of skyscrapers fetch their material from the warehouses themselves.

The arrows
Click a plant, a warehouse or a power plant and glowing arcs show what flows where:

| Color | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Blue | power from the power plants, with megawatts on the arrow |
| Orange | resources coming in |
| Green | goods going out |
The thicker the arc, the more tons flow. At a warehouse you see which plants deliver and who collects from you.
Warning signs
- Red warning sign: the plant cannot deliver, its own storage is full.
- Yellow lightning sign: the plant does not have enough power (Power and Distribution).
- Yellow note at the blast furnace: an ingredient is missing, it runs empty.
