Pig Iron
The basic material of all production, mined by the pig iron mine at the cliff.
Pig iron is where everything starts. The pig iron mine takes it straight out of the cliff in the north and nowhere else.

At the lowest load only a fraction of that comes out, but the wages are tiny. That is exactly how you start the game.
What you need it for
- Metal: the blast furnace turns 2 t of pig iron into 1 t of metal.
- Chrome steel: together with chrome ore (Chrome Steel).
- The blast furnace itself: it costs 60 t of pig iron to build.

Sell surplus in the warehouse for 18 $ per ton. Now and then the pig iron mine also finds a ruby.
