Resources and Metals
All resources, metals and special finds in District Null at a glance, with source and use.
Industry is your engine. Without resources and metals you will not get past the first buildings. Everything hangs together in chains: ores become metals, simple metals become fine alloys.

Metals from the blast furnace
| Metal | Furnace from level | Recipe for 1 t | |
|---|---|---|---|
| !Metal | Metal | 1 | 2 pig iron |
| !Chrome steel | Chrome steel | 2 | 2 pig iron, 1 chrome ore |
| !Krypto steel | Krypto steel | 2 | 2 metal, 1 kryptonite |
| !Cobalt alloy | Cobalt alloy | 3 | 1 chrome steel, 1 cobalt ore, 1 kryptonite |
| !Plasma steel | Plasma steel | 4 | 1 krypto steel, 1 cobalt ore, 2 spice |
The recipes build on each other: krypto steel needs metal, cobalt alloy needs chrome steel, plasma steel needs krypto steel. That keeps the simple metals in demand well into the late game.
Special finds and Urplasma
- Ruby, artifact, plasma core and energy crystal are rare finds (Special Finds).
- Urplasma is the premium currency and not a find.
Output and load
Every mine and blast furnace has a load slider from 1 to 100 %. More load brings more tons but costs more wages and power. Once a plant runs it needs at least a tenth of its power. New plants start at the lowest load and you raise it yourself.
Where the tons go is explained under Warehouse and Flow of Goods.
