Particle Shield
Huge shield dome over the city. Reliably keeps small attackers out.

The particle shield is the most expensive project of your Defense. It needs a plasma core, several energy crystals and 150 MW of power. While it runs, a honeycomb grid lies over the whole city, best seen when you zoom far out. Small fleets cannot get through, and the pterosaur's purple balls bounce off. Above the generator floats a plasma sphere with a halo and glowing rings. Without power its glow turns dull.
