Small Access Tower

Above your colony lies the upper level, the plateau. An access tower is a steel lattice tower that connects both levels. Above, you build platforms within its range, and below it makes the districts in its catchment area more popular.

What the access tower does

• Below: districts within 10 tiles gain 15 points of district value. High-rises need good connections, and an access tower counts like a bus stop for that.
• Above: platforms must lie within 12 tiles of the tower. Skyscrapers get their power through the nearest access tower.
• Up to 1 bus stops or taxi stands nearby extend the catchment area.

Besides money, access towers also cost metal, Kryptonite and spice. They need no road but stay where they are: you cannot relocate them because they carry the platforms above them.
