Warehouse
Three slots per warehouse that you assign yourself: how to store pig iron, ores and metals and sell your surplus.
Mines and blast furnaces only have a small storage of their own. When it is full, production stops. To prevent that you build warehouses. The building itself is under Storage.
The warehouse
| Value | |
|---|---|
| Cost | 120,000 $ and 20 metal |
| Slots | three per warehouse |
| Space per slot | 2,000 t |
| Operation | no power, no running costs |

Assigning slots
Click the warehouse and set what each slot holds: pig iron, chrome ore, cobalt ore, kryptonite, spice or one of the five metals. An empty slot accepts nothing. You can only change a slot while it is empty.

Selling
You sell surplus right in the warehouse, slot by slot. The "Empty" button sells the whole rest of a slot. Prices per ton are listed with each resource (Resources and Metals). They are well below what mining costs you. Nothing is sold automatically: full is full.
More space
- research Storage Density: more space in every slot
- protocol Logistics Overdrive: even more for 7 days
- another warehouse
What does not go into the warehouse
Special finds go into the colony vault, with no slot and no limit. Money is not stored goods.
The inventory
A click on the pig iron or metal tile opens the inventory with all resources, your boosters and every warehouse in the city. Fill levels turn yellow, orange and red when space gets tight. Click a warehouse and the camera flies there.
